Seacoast Bank grows by buying other Florida banks, and every acquisition forces its new customers to relink QuickBooks. Stuart based Seacoast National Bank (NASDAQ: SBCF, founded 1926, one of the largest community banks headquartered in Florida at about $20.8 billion in assets) supports Direct Connect and Web Connect for QuickBooks, but each core system conversion makes the old connection stop working until the account is added back under Seacoast. Upload a Seacoast Bank PDF statement to the converter at the top of this page and get the transactions into QuickBooks without waiting on the feed.
The converter turns a Seacoast PDF statement into a .qbo Web Connect file that imports into QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop, plus matching Excel and CSV copies. Every transaction keeps its date, description, and amount, and the running total is checked against the statement before you export. This page covers how Seacoast accounts connect to QuickBooks, why its frequent mergers break the feed, and when converting the PDF is the faster route.
Built for the statements US banks actually send, checked before it exports.
The converter adds up the transactions it parsed and matches that to the statement total before you export, so nothing is silently dropped.
Valid OFX 1.02 with QuickBooks Web Connect headers. Online and Desktop import it as a standard bank feed.
OCR runs before parsing, so a scanned or photographed paper statement comes out the same as a digital PDF.
Bulk upload for catch-up and cleanup work. Each file gets its own reconciliation check and its own exports.
Enter the password on upload. Multi-column and multi-page statement layouts are parsed too.
One conversion, three files: the .qbo for QuickBooks, an XLSX to review, and a CSV for everything else.
Three steps. No column-mapping wizard.
Drag in a PDF, a scan, or a phone photo. Password-protected and multi-page files are fine.
Every transaction is extracted and checked against the statement total. You see the parsed rows before exporting.
Download the .qbo and import it as a Web Connect bank feed. Excel and CSV are in the same download.

Yes, Seacoast Bank works with QuickBooks through two methods it documents itself. Direct Connect communicates with Seacoast for you, so you do not have to log in and download transactions by hand. Web Connect lets you download a file from Seacoast's website and import it. Seacoast offers downloads in several formats, including QuickBooks .qbo and Quicken .qfx, plus XLS, CSV, and OFX. When a connection stops importing, often right after a merger conversion, converting the PDF statement gets current transactions into QuickBooks right away.
Seacoast usually stops connecting because of a core system conversion. Seacoast is a serial acquirer, and when an acquired bank's accounts move onto Seacoast's systems, the financial institution details QuickBooks relies on change, so the saved connection no longer matches. Seacoast's own merger guidance tells QuickBooks and Quicken users to deactivate their accounts during the conversion and reactivate them once it is complete. Until you do that, imports fail. Converting the PDF statement avoids the relink and still lands the transactions in QuickBooks.
Seacoast has bought a string of Florida banks, including Sabal Palm Bank and Business Bank of Florida in 2022, Apollo Bank and Drummond Banking in October 2022, Professional Bank in January 2023, Heartland National Bank in July 2025, and Citizens First Bank, the Villages Bancorporation bank, which closed in October 2025 with full system conversion expected in the third quarter of 2026. Each conversion retires the acquired bank's QuickBooks connection, so former customers must relink under Seacoast. If your bank was just converted, converting the PDF is the quickest way to keep books current.
Citizens First Bank accounts moved to Seacoast when the Villages Bancorporation deal closed in October 2025, with the full systems conversion expected in the third quarter of 2026. When that conversion runs, the Citizens First Bank connection in QuickBooks will stop working and you will need to add the account back under Seacoast Bank. Watch for the conversion welcome packet, which carries the deactivate and reactivate steps. In the meantime, converting your PDF statements keeps QuickBooks current no matter which side of the conversion you are on.
Yes, Seacoast supports Direct Connect for QuickBooks and Quicken, the method that pulls transactions for you without a manual download. It also supports Web Connect, where you download a .qbo file from Seacoast and import it. Both connection types break at a merger conversion and have to be re-established, which is the recurring pain point for Seacoast customers. A converted PDF imports the same way a Web Connect download would, so it is a clean fallback whenever the feed is down between conversions.
Sign in to Seacoast online banking, open the account, and choose the download or export option, selecting the QuickBooks .qbo Web Connect format and a date range if it is offered. Import the file in QuickBooks through Upload from file in QuickBooks Online, or File, Utilities, Import, Web Connect Files in QuickBooks Desktop. Seacoast also offers XLS, CSV, OFX, and Quicken .qfx. When a recent conversion has broken the connection or the download is limited, save the PDF statement and convert it instead.
Log in to Seacoast online banking, open the statements or documents area, choose the account and the month you need, and save it as a PDF. For business accounts, Seacoast keeps account history available for up to 18 months and statements for up to seven years at no extra charge, so older months are usually still there. Keep your own copies anyway in case an account moves during a conversion. The converter reads any of these the same way, so an older statement and a current one both produce a clean .qbo file.
Convert the Seacoast PDF to a .qbo file with the converter above, then import that file. In QuickBooks Online, go to Transactions, Bank transactions, then Upload from file, and choose the .qbo. In QuickBooks Desktop, go to File, Utilities, Import, Web Connect Files. QuickBooks asks which account the transactions belong to, then sends them into the banking review queue for matching and categorizing, exactly as a working feed would, without depending on a connection a merger conversion may have just retired.
Seacoast statements convert cleanly whether they come from a personal account, a business checking account, or an account inherited from an acquired bank during a conversion. They list transactions in date order with a description and amount, separating deposits and credits from checks, withdrawals, and fees, with a beginning and ending balance summary. The converter strips out the summary boxes, fee tables, and inserts, so only real transactions reach your .qbo file, and it reads scanned or photographed statements through OCR the same way it reads a digital PDF.
Use Direct Connect or Web Connect for going forward activity once your account is linked under Seacoast, since a working feed keeps QuickBooks current with little effort. Convert the PDF statement when a merger conversion has broken the connection, when the feed will not return transactions, or when you need history the feed misses: statements older than the online window, opening balances for a new QuickBooks file, a catch up period, or an account that changed banks in an acquisition.
Accuracy is the part that matters most, because a converter that quietly drops or misreads a transaction costs far more time than it saves. The error usually surfaces during reconciliation, sometimes weeks later, while you chase a few dollars across a long register. This converter totals the transactions it parsed and checks that figure against the statement total before it lets you export, so the .qbo you import reflects every line Seacoast printed. You review the parsed rows in the preview first, then export once the numbers tie out.
Upload a PDF, see every transaction extracted in seconds. No card to try it.
