FirstBank, the Colorado and Arizona bank at efirstbank.com, is in the middle of a takeover that breaks QuickBooks connections. PNC announced its agreement to acquire FirstBank on September 8 2025 and closed the $4.1 billion deal on January 5 2026. The systems conversion starts June 19 2026, and about 95 branches reopen as PNC on June 22 2026. When that cutover happens, the FirstBank bank feed stops working and accounts have to be relinked under PNC, the same pattern every bank conversion follows. Even before the switch, FirstBank users have reported the automatic feed dropping and Direct Connect downloads failing. While the connection is unsettled, you can work straight from the statement. Upload a FirstBank PDF statement to the converter at the top of this page and get the transactions back in a format QuickBooks accepts.
The converter turns a FirstBank PDF statement into a .qbo Web Connect file that imports into QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop, plus matching Excel and CSV copies. Every transaction keeps its date, description, and amount, and the running total is checked against the statement before you export. Here is how FirstBank connects to QuickBooks, what the PNC conversion means for your feed, and when converting the PDF is the better move.
Built for the statements US banks actually send, checked before it exports.
The converter adds up the transactions it parsed and matches that to the statement total before you export, so nothing is silently dropped.
Valid OFX 1.02 with QuickBooks Web Connect headers. Online and Desktop import it as a standard bank feed.
OCR runs before parsing, so a scanned or photographed paper statement comes out the same as a digital PDF.
Bulk upload for catch-up and cleanup work. Each file gets its own reconciliation check and its own exports.
Enter the password on upload. Multi-column and multi-page statement layouts are parsed too.
One conversion, three files: the .qbo for QuickBooks, an XLSX to review, and a CSV for everything else.
Three steps. No column-mapping wizard.
Drag in a PDF, a scan, or a phone photo. Password-protected and multi-page files are fine.
Every transaction is extracted and checked against the statement total. You see the parsed rows before exporting.
Download the .qbo and import it as a Web Connect bank feed. Excel and CSV are in the same download.

Yes. FirstBank of Colorado works with QuickBooks. It offers an optional download service that feeds transactions into Quicken and QuickBooks through online banking, supporting Direct Connect for the live feed and a Web Connect (.qbo) file you can import by hand. Business customers connect through FirstBank business online banking. The connection works until the PNC systems conversion in June 2026 changes the platform, after which accounts move to PNC and the FirstBank entry is retired.
Your FirstBank feed stops working at the PNC systems conversion on June 19 2026 and you reconnect the account under PNC. A bank conversion retires the old institution profile, so QuickBooks keeps trying a FirstBank login that no longer routes anywhere and returns an error. Once branches reopen as PNC on June 22 2026, deactivate the old FirstBank feed in QuickBooks and add the account again by searching for PNC with your new PNC online banking credentials. Until the conversion finishes and the PNC feed is stable, converting your FirstBank PDF statements keeps the books current without waiting on the relink.
FirstBank usually stops connecting because the bank feed dropped or the account is caught in the PNC transition. FirstBank users have reported the automatic feed quietly stopping and Direct Connect downloads failing with authentication errors, which forces a deactivate and reconnect. During the move to PNC, the FirstBank connection is being retired entirely, so a feed that worked last month can return nothing. The reliable fix is to download the FirstBank PDF statement and convert it to a .qbo file with the tool above, so the transactions land in QuickBooks now instead of after a relink and a feed that only reaches back about 90 days.
Log in to FirstBank online banking at efirstbank.com, or business online banking for a company account, open the account, and use the download option, choosing the QuickBooks Web Connect (.qbo) format and a date range. Import the file in QuickBooks through Upload from file in QuickBooks Online, or File, Utilities, Import, Web Connect Files in Desktop. The live download usually reaches back only about 90 days, so older periods are out of range. If the download is missing, comes back empty, or arrives as a Quicken QFX file rather than .qbo, save the PDF statement for that period and convert it instead.
Sign in to FirstBank online banking at efirstbank.com, open the account, and go to the statements or documents section to view your eStatements. Pick the month you need and save it as a PDF with the download or print option. Business users find statements inside business online banking. Online statement history is usually limited, and after the PNC conversion your older FirstBank statements may sit behind the new platform, so download the periods you need before the cutover. Whatever the source, the PDF you save converts the same way.
Convert the FirstBank PDF to a .qbo file with the converter above, then import that file. In QuickBooks Online, go to Transactions, Bank transactions, then Upload from file, and choose the .qbo. In QuickBooks Desktop, go to File, Utilities, Import, Web Connect Files. QuickBooks asks which account the transactions belong to, then drops them into the banking review queue for matching and categorizing, exactly as a working FirstBank feed would, without waiting on the PNC reconnection.
FirstBank statements convert cleanly because the layout stays consistent month to month. Personal and business checking statements list transactions in date order with a description and amount, separating deposits and credits from checks, withdrawals, and fees, with a daily balance summary. Business analysis statements add service-charge detail. The converter strips out the summary boxes, fee tables, and marketing inserts, so only real transactions reach your .qbo file, and it reads scanned or photographed statements through OCR the same way it reads a digital PDF, including statements you keep from before the PNC conversion.
Use the live feed for going-forward activity once your account is settled on its platform, since it keeps QuickBooks current with little effort. Convert the PDF statement when the FirstBank feed has dropped, when the PNC conversion is pending or freshly done and the relink has not stabilized, when a download comes back as QFX instead of .qbo, or when you need history the feed misses: older periods, opening balances for a new QuickBooks file, a catch-up month, or a closed account.
Accuracy is the part that matters most, because a converter that quietly drops or misreads a transaction costs far more time than it saves. The error usually surfaces during reconciliation, sometimes weeks later, while you chase a few dollars across a long register. This converter totals the transactions it parsed and checks that figure against the statement total before it lets you export, so the .qbo you import reflects every line FirstBank printed. You review the parsed rows in the preview first, then export once the numbers tie out.
Upload a PDF, see every transaction extracted in seconds. No card to try it.
