First Horizon Bank serves business customers across the South after absorbing IBERIABANK, and the merger is exactly why so many First Horizon accounts give QuickBooks trouble. As IBERIABANK accounts moved onto the First Horizon platform, the bank feed and Web Connect links had to be rebuilt, and customers have reported error 108 and ongoing sync failures connecting First Horizon to QuickBooks. First Horizon offers Web Connect (.qbo) downloads and Direct Connect through its TreasuryConnect and BusinessConnect services, but the setup is fiddly and the feed drops. When the connection will not behave, you can work straight from the statement. Upload a First Horizon PDF statement to the converter at the top of this page and get the transactions back in a format QuickBooks accepts.
The converter turns a First Horizon Bank PDF statement into a .qbo Web Connect file that imports into QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop, plus matching Excel and CSV copies. Every transaction keeps its date, description, and amount, and the running total is checked against the statement before you export. Here is how First Horizon connects to QuickBooks, why the download fails, and when converting the PDF is the better move.
Built for the statements US banks actually send, checked before it exports.
The converter adds up the transactions it parsed and matches that to the statement total before you export, so nothing is silently dropped.
Valid OFX 1.02 with QuickBooks Web Connect headers. Online and Desktop import it as a standard bank feed.
OCR runs before parsing, so a scanned or photographed paper statement comes out the same as a digital PDF.
Bulk upload for catch-up and cleanup work. Each file gets its own reconciliation check and its own exports.
Enter the password on upload. Multi-column and multi-page statement layouts are parsed too.
One conversion, three files: the .qbo for QuickBooks, an XLSX to review, and a CSV for everything else.
Three steps. No column-mapping wizard.
Drag in a PDF, a scan, or a phone photo. Password-protected and multi-page files are fine.
Every transaction is extracted and checked against the statement total. You see the parsed rows before exporting.
Download the .qbo and import it as a Web Connect bank feed. Excel and CSV are in the same download.

Yes. First Horizon Bank works with QuickBooks through Web Connect, where you download a .qbo file from digital banking and import it, and through Direct Connect for business customers enrolled in TreasuryConnect or BusinessConnect. First Horizon has published QuickBooks Online and Web Connect user guides, so the integration is real. Because the connection has a history of error 108 and sync failures since the IBERIABANK merger, many business users keep a converted-statement workflow ready: download the PDF, convert it to .qbo here, and import clean data whenever the live feed lets them down.
First Horizon feeds usually fail for one of a few reasons. The most common since the IBERIABANK integration is error 108, a bank-side message QuickBooks shows when First Horizon needs you to confirm something on the website before the feed will run. Accounts that moved over from IBERIABANK sometimes appear under a new First Horizon connection and need to be relinked, and a changed password, a pending security prompt, or a First Horizon server issue can each break the sync. While the feed is failing, download the First Horizon PDF statement for the period you need, convert it to a .qbo file here, and import that so the account stays current.
Error 108 means your bank has posted a message on its website that QuickBooks needs you to read before it can refresh the feed. Sign in to First Horizon digital banking directly, look for alerts, notifications, or terms you have not yet accepted, and clear every one. Then go back to QuickBooks and update the account again. If error 108 keeps returning or the account stays stuck after the IBERIABANK migration, download the First Horizon PDF statement for the period and convert it to .qbo with the tool above so you can import the transactions manually without waiting on the feed.
Log in to First Horizon digital banking, open the account, and choose the option to download or export activity, then select the QuickBooks Web Connect (.qbo) format and a date range. Business customers on TreasuryConnect or BusinessConnect can also enable Direct Connect through the bank. Import the file in QuickBooks through Upload from file in QuickBooks Online, or File, Utilities, Import, Web Connect Files in Desktop. If the .qbo download fails or returns the wrong format after the merger, save the PDF statement and convert it with the tool above instead.
Sign in to First Horizon digital banking, open the account, and go to the statements or documents section. Select the month you need and save the eStatement as a PDF. Accounts that came over from IBERIABANK may keep older statements under a separate archive, so check both if a period is missing. First Horizon can also provide archived statements on request. Whatever the source, the PDF you download converts the same way, so you can reach history the live feed never offers.
Convert the First Horizon PDF to a .qbo file with the converter above, then import that file. In QuickBooks Online, go to Transactions, Bank transactions, then Upload from file, and choose the .qbo. In QuickBooks Desktop, go to File, Utilities, Import, Web Connect Files. QuickBooks asks which account the transactions belong to, then drops them into the banking review queue for matching and categorizing, exactly as a working First Horizon feed would, without the error 108 loop.
First Horizon statements convert cleanly because the layout stays consistent month to month. Personal and business checking statements list transactions in date order with a description and amount, separating deposits and other credits from checks, withdrawals, and fees, with a daily balance summary. Older IBERIABANK-branded statements and First Horizon commercial accounts add analysis and service-charge sections. The converter strips out the summary boxes, fee tables, and marketing inserts, so only real transactions reach your .qbo file, and it reads scanned or photographed First Horizon statements through OCR the same way it reads a digital PDF.
Use the First Horizon feed for going-forward activity when it is behaving, since it keeps QuickBooks current with little effort. Convert the PDF statement when error 108 will not clear, when an account that moved over from IBERIABANK needs catching up, or when you need history the feed misses: older periods, opening balances for a new QuickBooks file, a catch-up month, or a closed account. Because the First Horizon connection has been unsettled since the merger, many cleanups for First Horizon business accounts run on converted statements to stay on schedule.
Accuracy is the part that matters most, because a converter that quietly drops or misreads a First Horizon transaction costs far more time than it saves. The error usually surfaces during reconciliation, sometimes weeks later, while you chase a few dollars across a long register. This converter totals the transactions it parsed and checks that figure against the statement total before it lets you export, so the .qbo you import reflects every line First Horizon printed. You review the parsed rows in the preview first, then export once the numbers tie out.
