Citizens Business Bank is the Ontario, California commercial bank founded in 1974 as Chino Valley Bank and held today by CVB Financial Corp. (NASDAQ: CVBF). After the Heritage Commerce merger closed in April 2026 it runs more than $20 billion in assets across over 75 banking centers, all in California. It is one of the largest bank holding companies headquartered in the state. If you keep a business account here and do your books in QuickBooks, upload a Citizens Business Bank PDF statement at the top of this page to get a clean .QBO file.
The converter turns a Citizens Business Bank PDF statement into a .qbo Web Connect file that imports into QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop, plus matching Excel and CSV copies. Every transaction keeps its date, description, and amount, and the parsed total is checked against the statement total before you export. This page covers the constant mixup with Citizens Bank, the commercial-login friction, and how to import the file.
Built for the statements US banks actually send, checked before it exports.
The converter adds up the transactions it parsed and matches that to the statement total before you export, so nothing is silently dropped.
Valid OFX 1.02 with QuickBooks Web Connect headers. Online and Desktop import it as a standard bank feed.
OCR runs before parsing, so a scanned or photographed paper statement comes out the same as a digital PDF.
Bulk upload for catch-up and cleanup work. Each file gets its own reconciliation check and its own exports.
Enter the password on upload. Multi-column and multi-page statement layouts are parsed too.
One conversion, three files: the .qbo for QuickBooks, an XLSX to review, and a CSV for everything else.
Three steps. No column-mapping wizard.
Drag in a PDF, a scan, or a phone photo. Password-protected and multi-page files are fine.
Every transaction is extracted and checked against the statement total. You see the parsed rows before exporting.
Download the .qbo and import it as a Web Connect bank feed. Excel and CSV are in the same download.

No, and this is the trap that connects the wrong feed. Citizens Business Bank (cbbank.com, Ontario CA, ticker CVBF) is a separate California company with no relationship to Citizens Bank, the Providence, Rhode Island retail bank owned by Citizens Financial Group (citizensbank.com, NYSE: CFG). In the QuickBooks bank search, almost every result for a plain Citizens search points to the Rhode Island bank or another small Citizens institution, not to Citizens Business Bank. Match on the exact name and website, cbbank.com, before linking. If you actually bank with the Rhode Island Citizens, use our Citizens Bank statement to QuickBooks page instead.
Citizens Business Bank does not publish a dedicated QuickBooks or Quicken support page, and its business online banking pages list bill pay, statements, wires, and ACH without naming Web Connect or Direct Connect. So a documented live feed is not advertised, which is common for a commercial-first bank. Whatever the current feed status, converting the PDF statement to a .qbo file works every time: you download the statement the bank already produces and turn it into a file QuickBooks imports, with no aggregation login in the loop.
Commercial accounts usually log in through a treasury or cash-management portal at securebanking.cbbank.com with a company ID separate from a consumer sign-in, and QuickBooks aggregation often cannot authenticate that kind of multi-credential business login. Without a published Direct Connect or Web Connect path, there may be no supported feed to connect in the first place. Rather than troubleshoot a login QuickBooks was never built to read, download the statement as a PDF and convert it. The file carries every transaction the bank printed, no company ID or token required.
Sign in to Citizens Business Bank business online banking at securebanking.cbbank.com, enroll in eStatements if you have not already, then open the statements area, pick the account and the month, and save it as a PDF. Citizens Business Bank keeps online statements for up to seven years, so you can pull older months for catch-up bookkeeping or a year-end cleanup. The converter reads any of these PDFs the same way, so a recent statement and an older one both produce a clean .qbo file.
Convert the Citizens Business Bank PDF to a .qbo file with the converter above, then import that file. In QuickBooks Online, go to Transactions, then Bank transactions, then Upload from file, and select the .qbo. In QuickBooks Desktop, use File, Utilities, Import, Web Connect Files. QuickBooks asks which account the transactions belong to and routes them into the banking review queue for matching and categorizing, the same way a live feed would. This is the dependable path for treasury accounts that will not link directly.
It can if you came from Heritage Bank of Commerce. Citizens Business Bank completed its acquisition of Heritage Commerce Corp in April 2026, adding Bay Area and Silicon Valley branches and pushing the combined bank over $20 billion. As Heritage accounts move onto the Citizens Business Bank platform, any feed first set up under Heritage may need to be reconnected under the new institution. While that conversion settles, the steady way to keep your books current is to download the PDF statement and convert it to a .qbo file rather than wait for a feed to reappear.
Citizens Business Bank statements list transactions in date order with a description and an amount, separating deposits and credits from checks, withdrawals, and analysis or service charges, with a beginning and ending balance. Commercial statements can run long with sweep and treasury activity. The converter ignores the summary boxes, account analysis tables, fee schedules, and inserts, so only real transactions reach your .qbo file. It also reads scanned or photographed statements through OCR the same way it reads a digital PDF.
Accuracy is the part that matters most, because a converter that quietly drops or misreads a transaction costs far more time than it saves. The error usually surfaces during reconciliation, sometimes weeks later, while you chase a few dollars across a long business register. This converter totals the transactions it parsed and checks that figure against the statement total before it lets you export, so the .qbo you import reflects every line Citizens Business Bank printed. You review the parsed rows in the preview first, then export once the numbers tie out.
Upload a PDF, see every transaction extracted in seconds. No card to try it.
