SaaSAnt Pricing: What SaaSAnt Transactions Really Costs

SaaSAnt Transactions Online costs $25 a month for one QuickBooks company on the Growth plan, $50 on Scale and $100 on Automate, or $250, $500 and $1,000 billed yearly. Accountants who manage several client files pay $30, $75 or $150 a month for 3, 10 or 30 companies. The Desktop edition is a yearly license priced per computer, from $125 to $599. There is a 30-day trial with no card, and SaaSAnt states plainly that it does not offer refunds.

The number most buyers miss is not the plan price. It is the credit cost of the job you are buying it for. SaaSAnt charges every action against one monthly credit balance, and parsing a PDF bank statement costs 50 credits per transaction line. On the $25 plan that works out to roughly 500 statement lines a month, which is a handful of busy business statements, not a year of them.

Prices are in US dollars before tax. SaaSAnt's pricing pages carry no structured price data to cross-check against, so confirm on the vendor page before you buy.

What SaaSAnt Transactions Online costs

Online pricing is set by how many QuickBooks companies you connect, then by users, monthly credits and the largest file you can import in one go. The three single-company plans differ mainly in credits and headroom.

Yearly billing is shown against a struck-through price equal to twelve months, so Growth at $250 a year replaces $300 and saves about two months. The same pattern holds on every tier. Note that the multi-company Launch plans share one credit pool across all their companies and cap each file at 3,000 rows, lower than the single-company plans.

How SaaSAnt credits work, and why bank statements are the expensive part

Since SaaSAnt moved to a single credit balance, every action draws on the same pool. Most spreadsheet work is cheap. PDF work is not. This is the published schedule from SaaSAnt's credit structure article:

Put that against real statements. A small business checking account with 150 transactions a month costs 7,500 credits just to parse, before the import step, which is listed separately at 1 credit per line. Growth's 25,000 credits cover about three such statements. Scale covers about six, Automate about thirteen. The 100 trial credits parse two statement lines, so the trial shows you how SaaSAnt's spreadsheet import works but cannot realistically test statement conversion.

Three rules make this tighter. Unused credits expire at the end of each billing cycle and cannot be moved between companies. Only Automate and the multi-company plans can buy extra credits; on Growth or Scale, running out means upgrading. And one of SaaSAnt's own help articles lists credit tiers under different plan names than the pricing page does, so check the balance shown in the app rather than a third-party summary.

What SaaSAnt Transactions Desktop costs

The Desktop edition is sold differently: a one-year license per computer, with no monthly option. The unit is the installation, so a bookkeeper who works on a desktop and a laptop needs to count both.

Every Desktop plan lists PDF to Excel. The Desktop pricing page reuses the Online FAQ, which says billing can be monthly or annual, but the plan cards only show yearly prices. Treat Desktop as annual.

Is SaaSAnt worth it for bank statements?

For spreadsheet imports, yes, and that is what it is built for. Pushing invoices, bills, journal entries or a clean CSV of transactions into QuickBooks at 1 credit a line is inexpensive, and bulk delete and edit are useful at cleanup time. For converting PDF bank statements, the 50-credit line charge changes the math. SaaSAnt does not sell a standalone PDF to QBO converter; statement parsing is a feature inside Transactions Online, and its own guide on PDF to QBO points readers to that feature rather than to a .qbo file.

If statements are most of your volume, compare it against a tool priced by the page.
